Citing an unnamed Taiwanese military source, the island’s China Times newspaper reported that Taipei and Washington had discussed the idea during a recent security meeting about what to do with the hundreds of missiles after they were decommissioned.
“The US agreed to repurchase most of the systems and send them to Ukraine to reinforce its air defence,” the source told China Times following the meeting.
